RFP 09-07 - Privatization of Municipal Solid Waste Transfer, Hauling, Disposal and Recyling Services

Sealed Proposals to provide for the Privatization of Municipal Solid Waste, Transfer, Hauling, Disposal and Recycling Services currently provided by the Rivanna Solid Waste Authority will be received by the Rivanna Solid Waste Authority until 4:00 p.m., March 2, 2010. Proposals may be either mailed, hand delivered, or express mailed to: 695 Moores Creek Lane, Charlottesville, VA 22902-9016.
This procurement does not include the remediation of the closed Ivy Landfill site. All remediation activities will be retained and managed by the Authority. These services will be procured as a "competitive negotiation" as allowed by the Virginia Public Procurement Act upon the declaration by the Board of Director of the Authority at their December 17, 2009, special meeting.
